The Miwaleni Lake and Waterfalls is a green oasis at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. You can take a walk around the lake, which is lined with thriving papyrus. It is a particularly popular place for the Rangi people, who collect the papyrus to weave mats and baskets. You can also follow the river and hike to the scenic Miwaleni Waterfall. This is a more challenging journey over rocks and stones, but at the end, a refreshing pool awaits you at the bottom of the 15-metre falls!
